Competing against other students from San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Sacramento, Reno and the Fresno area, Fresno State graphic design students have won nine gold and eight silver awards in the American Advertising Federation Regional (District 14) ADDY Awards.

The Fresno Advertising Federation Foundation (FAFF) announced the creation of two new scholarships to be awarded to graphic design students in the Department of Art, Design and Art History and students in the Media, Communications, and Journalism (MCJ) departments.
Many of these works will be on display at the “Revival BFA Portfolio Exhibition 2022” May 6-13 at the Phebe Conley Art Gallery. You can meet the graphic design students and discuss their work at the opening reception at 5 p.m. Friday, May 6.
“Isabella is a remarkable person and creative designer whose qualifications are commendable. She excels in her coursework, specifically in the advanced graphic design courses where she has produced exceptional projects that exemplify outstanding design, research, creativity and craftsmanship,” said Martin R Valencia, Professor, Graphic Design/Illustration.
Curated by Professor Emerita Elizabeth Resnick, Graphic Design with Massachusetts College of Art and Design, the “Women’s Rights Are Human Rights” exhibit runs through February 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays in Phebe Conley Gallery.
