After nearly sweeping the local American Advertising Awards (ADDY) awards, the top award winners moved on to the regional level where the accolades continued. Graphic Design student Belinda Houngsombath earned two gold medals in the regional ADDYs and will now move to compete at the national level. Seven other students received silver awards for their work.
The regional ADDY area (District 14) includes the greater San Francisco area along with Sacramento, Reno, and Fresno.
“[O]ver the past several years Fresno State Graphic Design students have consistently received Regional Student ADDY Awards,” said Rebecca Barnes, Fresno State graphic design faculty. “Overall the Fresno State Graphic Design students’ work has been very highly regarded through their excellence in creativity and execution.”
