Fresno State’s Mediator Mentors Program, under the Department of Philosophy, will celebrate Mediator Mentor Appreciation Day Thursday, May 24, located in North Gym 118.
Directed by the Philosophy Department’s Dr. Negin Tahvildary, the goal of the program is for students, as part of a university-public school partnership, to learn the valuable tools needed in supporting the development of conflict resolution skills in school children.

Donald Munro’s MCJ 104 (Editing of Publications) class was assigned a unique final group project inspired by the Fresno State University Theatre production of “A Streetcar Named Desire.” The groups were each asked to pick an aspect of the production to focus on and explore in articles for a collaborative website.
The Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concert Series presents pianist Juho Pohjonen at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20, in the Concert Hall at Fresno State. This is the final event of the season for the series.
