As Fresno State rolls out their crowdfunding platform, three areas in the College of Arts and Humanities look to raise funds for scholarships, student travel and preserving local history. The campaigns end on Oct. 31.
The dedicated students who perform in the Bulldog Marching Band come from various backgrounds, representing nearly every academic major on campus. Participation is extra-curricular, with students committing six to eight hours of practice each week – in addition to their class work, performance and travel time. To recruit and retain the most talented students, scholarships are critical.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 The Fresno State Department of Music Audition Day provides prospective students an opportunity to audition in front of department faculty to gain entrance into the program as a music major and become eligible for departmental scholarships.
