Fresno State big bands to open for trumpeter Ralph Alessi in jazz concert

The Fresno State Jazz Orchestra directed by Richard Lloyd Giddens Jr. and The Fresno State Jazz Ensemble directed by Les Nunes will open for trumpeter and composer Ralph Alessi at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the Concert Hall.

Fresno State’s scholarship brass ensemble, the Clendenin Brass Quintet, will perform its fall recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in the Fresno State Concert Hall.

Our faculty have been hard at work, and our college’s students and alumni are pursuing their dreams in a wide variety of fields.
