Charles Shields was born on July 19, 1944, and passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 30, 2020.

The Department of Art and Design presents “Curiosity,” artwork by recently retired faculty member Charles Shields in the Phebe Conley Art Gallery at Fresno State. Shields will give a talk from 4:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, with a reception to follow.

Large-scale photographs by grad student Sara Deasy will be featured in her master’s Grad Show, the first exhibition of the fall semester in the Phebe Conley Art Gallery at Fresno State.
