Fresno State Jazz Band drops ‘The Covid Session’ virtual album

Fresno State Director of Jazz Studies Richard Lloyd Giddens Jr.

While in quarantine, the Fresno State jazz studies program members recorded a six-song album. Without any face-to-face rehearsals, each member recorded their part from home using their own digital workspaces or even their phones. Each track was then skillfully edited together to create the collection.

The album is free to download from bandcamp.com. However, if you like the album and would like to support the program, you can follow the QR code below or from the Bandcamp page.

The album was directed and produced by Fresno State Director of Jazz Studies Richard Lloyd Giddens Jr., mixed and mastered by Sam Minale and consulting by Antonio Montañez.

Once you scan or click on the QR code, click OTHER, and type in JAZZ PROGRAM.
