Armenian Studies hosts 33rd Annual Banquet virtually

The Armenian Studies Program held its 33rd Annual Banquet on Sunday, May 2. The Banquet was held virtually and a special video to mark the occasion was prepared.

In an email to supporters, Berberian Coordinator of the Armenian Studies Program and Director of the Center for Armenian Studies at Fresno State Prof. Barlow DerMugrdechian, said, “ Today the Armenian Studies Program is holding its 33rd Annual Banquet, virtually, rather than in-person. We have prepared a Program video for our Banquet. The Program recognizes the Leon S. Peters Foundation and Dr. Arnold & Dianne Gazarian for their support of the Program. The video features messages from Fresno State Interim President Dr. Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval, from Interim Dean of the College of Arts & Humanities Dr. Honora Chapman and Interim Associate Dean of the College, Dr. Sergio La Porta. We also recognize student scholarship recipients and graduating students with Minors in Armenian Studies. Enjoy the video.”
