Fresno State Wind Orchestra releases virtual performance video

Virtual Fresno State Wind Orchestra performance

Graduate student conductor Kevin Misakian directed the Fresno State Wind Orchestra in a virtual presentation of “Furioso” composed by Dr. Gary Gilroy, Professor of Music at Fresno State.

“The students of the Fresno State Wind Orchestra were very bummed to not be able to go on their tour this spring, so I was very proud to see them come together and rise above it all to create this music together,” said Gilroy.

The team effort included the Fresno State Wind Orchestra, Dr. Gilroy, and Steve Martin, alumnus and CEO of GPG Publications, who collaborated with a company in Colorado to put together the final video.
