Symphonic Band performs the last concert of the year

The Fresno State Symphonic Band will perform a unique mix of historic and contemporary pieces under the direction of Steve McKeithen at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Concert Hall. 

The program includes “Fanfare from ‘La Péri’ by Paul Dukas, “Sleep” by Eric Whitacre, “Zing!” by Scott McAllister, “Symphonic Movement” by Vaclav Nelhybel and “Homage” by Jan Van der Roost.

The concert will feature “Unquiet Hours” by David Biedenbender under the direction of graduate student conductor Kevin Misakian. 

Tickets are $10 general, $8 for employees and seniors, and $5 for students. Parking is $5 in lot P1.
