GRAMMY-nominated ‘Kneebody’ headlines Fresno State Jazz Festival

The Los Angeles based jazz quartet “Kneebody” will take the stage with the Fresno State Jazz Orchestra for the featured concert of the Fresno State Jazz Festival at 7:30 p.m.,  Thursday, Dec. 5 in the Concert Hall. Tickets are $15 general, $10 for employees and seniors and $5 for students. Parking is $5 in lot P1. 

Kneebody is known for their explosive energy and adventurous improvisation with keyboardist Adam Benjamin, trumpeter Shane Endsley, saxophonist Ben Wendel and drummer/bassist Nate Wood. The group, along with vocalist Theo Bleckmann, was nominated for a GRAMMY in the “classical crossover” category in 2009.
