Mayor of Angra to give a lecture on the history of his city

Áamo Menseses, the mayor of the Azores city of Angra do Heroísmo, will give a lecture on “Angra and the world: from the era of the discoveries to contemporary times” at 6 p.m., Nov. 7 at the Ag lecture hall, AG 109.

Angra is a World Heritage City and played a pivotal role in connecting Europe and America. The talk is free and open to the public.

Parking in $5 is lot P6.
