2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi featured in ‘The Price of Free’ screening

Director Derek Doneen will lead a discussion following the free CineCulture screening of “The Price of Free” at 5:30 p.m., Oct. 18 in the Peters Education Center Auditorium inside the  Student Recreation Center building.

Hidden inside overcrowded factories around the world, countless children are forced into slave labor due to rising global demand for cheap goods. With the help of a covert network of informants, Nobel Peace Prize winner and India’s children’s rights activist Kailash Satyarthi Satyarthi takes on a mission to find Sonu, a young boy trafficked to Delhi for work who has been missing for eight months.

In Hindi and English with English subtitles.

Parking is free with printable permit in Lots P3 or P2.
