This week on Fresno State Focus — a public affairs program produced by Media, Communications and Journalism students — student anchor Brittney Steele of Ocotillo, CA gives us an inside look at how some students are making meaningful media connections through the Excellence In Journalism national conference.

Reporter Janet Vasquez from Fresno talks with Jim Boren of the Institute for Media and Public Trust about fake news and how students can avoid misinformation online.

Sports reporter Erica Rosinski from Charlotte, NC shows us how any student with a little spare time can get out and play Intramural Sports.
