Fresno State and Fresno City College to perform in concert with guest Dr. James Miley

Fresno State Jazz Orchestra

The Fresno State Jazz Orchestra and the Fresno City College Jazz Composers Orchestra (JCO) will hold a joint concert at 8 p.m., Oct. 7 in the Fresno State Concert Hall.

The concert will feature guest artist, composer and former Fresno State faculty Dr. James Miley who will be performing several of his arrangements with the two ensembles. In addition, JCO will perform an original composition by Miley entitled “Toshio” in memory of the late Fresno State jazz drum set teacher Brian Hamada.

Tickets are $15 general, $10 employees and seniors, $5 student. Parking is $5 in lot P1.
