Film director Santiago Esteinou will participate in a post-screening discussion following CineCulture’s presentation of “The Years of Fierro” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6

The oldest Mexican prisoner on death row in the United States, César Fierro has been languishing in a Texas prison for almost forty years. He continues to await execution by lethal injection for a murder that evidence shows he did not commit.

The free screening will be held in the Peters Education Center Auditorium, next to the Save Mart Center in the Student Recreation Center Building. Parking is free after 4 p.m. on Fridays. CineCulture is a film series provided as a service to Fresno State students, faculty and staff, and the community.
