CSU Summer Arts will present its final student showcase, beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Fresno State. The showcase will end with a final performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the Fresno State Concert Hall. Tickets are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

CSU Summer Arts presents first of two Student Showcase Festivals

Artists present Shakespeare’s work and include medieval broadswords during a Summer Arts Combat Presentation.

Participants will present their original solo performances, showcase dynamic dance routines and exhibit one-of-a-kind artwork. The final show will be action-packed with students interpreting some of Shakespeare’s most famous fight scenes as they act and demonstrate their stage-fighting acumen.
