Portuguese language high school students to visit Fresno State

As part of Portuguese Immigrant Week in California, the Portuguese Beyond Borders Institute will host “Portuguese Language Students Youth Day” at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 at Fresno State.

Over 300 students studying Portuguese from five high schools, Tulare Union, Tulare Western, Mission Oak, Hilmar High School and Turlock High School will be in attendance.

The event will begin with a brief presentation about Portuguese at Fresno State in the Residence Dining Hall at 10 a.m., followed by a Fresno State Student Panel, a campus tour, folklore dances and lunch in O’Neill Park.
