Undergraduate Conference on Multiethnic Literatures of the Americas features two keynote speakers

UCMLA keynote speakers Maxine Hong Kingston and Elda María Román

The 10th annual Undergraduate Conference on Multiethnic Literatures of the Americas (UCMLA) will take place March 14-16, featuring keynote addresses from novelist, educator and National Medal of Arts recipient Maxine Hong Kingston and University of Southern California literary and cultural studies scholar Elda María Román.

Kingston will deliver her keynote address at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 15, in the Alice Peters Auditorium (PB191).

Román will deliver her keynote address at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, March 15 in PB191. Both keynotes are free and open to the public.
