Fresno State Opera Theatre performs ‘Our Favorite Scenes’ for 10th Anniversary

For their 10 year anniversary, Fresno State Opera Theatre will perform a compilation of their favorite scenes on Friday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. in the Wahlberg Recital Hall. Tickets are $15 general, $12 employees and seniors, $8 students.

Among the scenes performed is the world premiere from Dr. Kenneth Froelich’s newest opera “The State of Jefferson.” Dr. Froelich is an Assistant Professor in Music Composition whose music has been performed around the world.

  • Cosí fan tutti and Die Zauberflöte by Mozart
  • The State of Jefferson by Froelich
  • Summer and Smoke by Lee Hobby
  • Edges by Pasek and Paul
  • Candide by Bernstein
