Explore the Fresno Art Scene with Libary After Hours

What happens after hours at the Henry Madden Library? Find out at this upcoming event which explores the local arts scene in Fresno.

The event is from 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19 at the Henry Madden Library, Second Floor. The event and parking are free — however, you are asked to RSVP.

Featuring: DJ Mr. Leonard, a pop-up art show, hands-on creativity, and a panel chat with local art influencers. Learn about Fresno’s vibrant arts scene and immerse yourself in all the sights and sounds that make up the local community’s unique identity.

Speakers include: 

  • Dr. Cindy Ruth Urrutia, Director of the Center for Creativity and Arts at Fresno State (moderator)
  • Lilia Chavez, Executive Director at Fresno Arts Council
  • Frank Delgado, Executive Director at Arte Americas Casa De La Cultura
  • Aileen Imperatrice, local artist
  • Leonard Longmire, local DJ
  • Dr. Thomas Whit Ellis, Director of University Theater
