This week on Fresno State Focus, a public affairs program produced by Media, Communications and Journalism students, anchor Adilene Quintana of Porterville will speak to a Fresno Chaffee Zoo employee. Then, anchor Katie GoGo of San Diego will speak to Romero Marino about Vintage Days, which runs April 20-22.

The show will take an inside look at a variety of stories about shelter, presented by the Fresno State Focus cast. Reporter Mitzi Cardenas shows us how one Central Valley woman turned her home into a shelter for rescued pitbulls. Plus, Katie GoGo gives us the story of a Fresno native who is changing lives one meal at a time in the homeless community.

Also, tune in to find out more about Battle for Fresno State, a break dancing competition hosted by Straight Outta Fresno and sponsored by the Cross Cultural and Gender Center.

Fresno State Focus airs at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays during the semester on Comcast Channel 94 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. It will also be streamed live on CMAC.TV Education Channel and on the Fresno State Focus TV YouTube channel.
