Several groups from the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California will perform a free concert Thursday at Fresno State – the Concierto Coro Ensenada, Banda de Guerra and tenor José Ortega.

The groups are in Fresno to participate in the 207th Aniversario de Independencia de México at Fresno City Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

The concert will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, in the Concert Hall at Fresno State. David Manuel Preciado Juárez, the Cónsul Titular of the Mexican Consulate in Fresno, will welcome the musicians.

Universidad Autónoma de Baja California is a public university in the Mexican state of Baja California, one of 43 universities in the nation’s state university system.

The concert open to the public.
