Teresa Beaman, a flute professor at Fresno State, will present a concert “Teresa Beaman and Friends: An Evening of Classical Music and Folk Songs From Around the World” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, in the Wahlberg Recital Hall.

The concert will feature Beaman on flute, Ellie Choate on harps and piano and the President’s Quintet, Fresno State’s premiere scholarship wind ensemble.

The President’s Quintet consists of Sam Kennedy on French Horn, Katrina Bissett on flute, Brooke Ferdinandsen on oboe, Nathaniel Camp on bassoon and Katie Winter on clarinet.

Beaman is also the graduate program coordinator for the Department of Music.

In addition to classical works, Beaman and Choate will performing works from Beaman’s new CD project, “Folk Songs Around the World” for harp and flute.

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for employees and seniors and $6 for students.
