Fresno State Media, Communications and Journalism student Audrianna Ferri received the Rosebud Award for First Place Television News at the CSU Media Arts Festival in November for her segment on “Brian Cade, Local Artist.”
Two other MCJ students were finalists:
- Natalie Nigg’s Global News Relay Glitch Promo won fourth place in the promotional category.
- Fabiola Ramirez’ Bulldog Blimp piece won second place in the television news category.
Ferri is now a news producer at KGPE-TV in Fresno. Ramirez is a multi-media journalist/reporter at KSBY in Santa Maria/San Luis Obispo. Nigg will graduate this spring.
CSU Summer Arts established the Media Arts Festival in 1991 to give students studying film, broadcasting, video, screenwriting, and new media within the 23-campus California State University system an opportunity to present their work for critical review.
