Fresno State was ranked No. 3 among the top universities in the country that help low-income students find financial success, according to a recent ranking the “2017 Social Mobility Index” (SMI).
The U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 Best College rankings issued today again placed Fresno State among the top three best public universities in graduation rate performance nationwide.
Fresno State scored third highest among public national universities and was No. 4 overall this year. Last year, the University ranked No. 1 among public national universities and No. 3 among all national universities.
The latest national ranking of the top universities in the United States shows Fresno State’s approach to student success is again among the nation’s best at combining academic excellence with economic opportunity. Washington Monthly, a D.C.-based magazine known for its annual rankings of American colleges and universities, announced Monday that Fresno State placed No. 17 on its list of the top national universities, moving up eight spots from last year.
