This year, the teams of Communication students who organized the festival had a monumental challenge. They needed to figure out how to rebuild and run the entire event online.
In 2007, Pader Vue stepped foot on Fresno State’s campus for the first time for the Peach Blossom Festival. Thirteen years later, Vue is now one of the Communication Department students hosting the 62nd annual Peach Blossom Festival on March 12 and 13.
“It is probably one of the best experiences an elementary student can have,” said Olson. “The benefits of this festival reaches our young people in ways that cannot be duplicated anywhere else. The effects of this experience go beyond our imagination.”
Fresno State students from the Communication Department are in full work mode preparing for this year’s Peach Blossom Festival, which will take place March 8 and 9.
