The Reverend James M. Lawson Jr., the legendary leader and tactician of nonviolence within the United States’ Civil Rights Movement, which Lawson referred to as the “Rosa Parks-Martin King” Movement, passed away on June 9 at the age of 95.
Under the guidance of Dr. Nathan J. Sobieralski, the Fresno State trumpet ensemble achieved third place in the 2024 International Trumpet Guild Conference, Chamber Music Division.
