Summer Arts to host Diavolo Dance Company

CSU Summer Arts will host the world-famous Diavolo Dance Company at 7 p.m. Friday, July 19, at the John Wright Theatre. Tickets are $25 general, $20 students/seniors, and children 12 and under are free.

The Los Angeles-based dance company is internationally known for their ability to combine elements of contemporary dance with martial arts, acrobatics, gymnastics and hip-hop. They will present their highly anticipated dance, “DIAVOLO Past, Present, Future…Volo” to fans in Fresno.

In addition to their public performance, the dance company are also guest artists for students enrolled in the CSU Summer Arts program. The class, “Diavolo Dance: Trust, Teamwork, Partnering, and the Moving Set Piece” is a two-week session offered to dance students enrolled throughout the CSU system.
